At IT Centric, your privacy and the security of your personal data are extremely important to us. For this reason, we collect and manage your personal data with the utmost care and adopt appropriate measures to keep them secure.

This page describes how the IT Centric S.p.A. portal (hereinafter also referred to as the “Company”) is managed with regard to the processing of personal data of users who browse it. This information notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 “General Data Protection Regulation” (hereinafter also “GDPR”) and current national legislation on the protection of personal data of those who interact with the site starting from the address www.itcentric.it/ and not for other external websites that may be linked to it.

The processing of personal data means any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the aid of automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not stored in a database, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, processing, selection, blocking, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, comparison or interconnection, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Following consultation of this website, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. Data freely and voluntarily provided by users are acquired and processed in compliance with the rules set out by the Regulation for the following purposes:

  • responding to the “Book a Call” service;
  • responding to a request submitted via the form in the “Contacts” section or via ordinary email;
  • evaluation of unsolicited applications submitted through the form in the “Careers” section;
  • with reference to browsing data, verifying the proper functioning of the website and carrying out statistical analyses.


OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA

Except as specified below for browsing data, users are free to voluntarily provide the personal data requested in registration forms or in interfaces for the various services of the website www.itcentric.it. Failure to provide certain personal data in forms or communications requesting information, suggestions, or reports, or otherwise provided during telephone contacts with the Company’s departments, may solely result in the inability to obtain a response to the request or report submitted.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Personal data voluntarily provided by the user – Users voluntarily provide certain personal data (name, surname, email, etc.) for the purposes of the individual services offered by IT Centric. Such data are collected through the completion of specific forms available in various sections of the website or as a result of emails sent to the Data Controller using the email addresses provided. Some data are necessary in order to properly respond to user requests. In any case, the processing of sensitive or judicial data is excluded; if such data are voluntarily provided, they will be promptly deleted.

Browsing data – The IT systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects but, by its very nature, may allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties. This category includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the file obtained in response, numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on website usage and to verify proper operation, and are retained for the minimum period required by applicable law. The data may be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
The data collected and processed are not transferred to companies or other entities outside the European Union.


WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT AND DATA RETENTION PERIOD

To withdraw specific consent, you may contact the Data Controller at the address provided for exercising the rights pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, indicated in the following section of this notice.

The criteria used to determine the retention period of personal data are those suggested by applicable Italian regulations on data retention and, in any case, compliance with the principles of lawfulness, necessity, and proportionality, as well as the purposes for which the data were provided.

Specifically:

  • data related to requests for information and services submitted by users will be retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfill such requests;
  • data related to unsolicited job applications submitted via the “Careers” section form will be retained for a period of 12 months from authorization for processing;
  • all other data acquired through the website www.itcentric.it/ will be retained for no more than 12 months from authorization for processing.

Users’ Rights (as “Data Subjects”)

Users may exercise at any time the rights provided for by Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, where applicable. These include, in accordance with Articles 13(2)(b) and (d), the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of personal data concerning them, restriction of processing, or to object to processing in the cases provided for; as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, following the procedures and instructions published on the Authority’s official website at www.garanteprivacy.it.
