The team of the DAC, the Aerospace District of Campania, expands, reaching 188 members, between direct and indirect, and the share capital grows. This is what the Shareholders’ Meeting decided, which also unanimously approved the financial statements as at December 2020 and reconfirmed the Board of Directors chaired by Luigi Carrino.
Subscribed share capital of € 90,000.00 for the admission of 20 new members.
The number of direct members and the share capital of the DAC changed from 2012 to 2021. Direct shareholders went from 29 in 2012 to 74 in 2021 (reaching 188 if indirect ones are also considered) and the share capital grew from 492,500 to 827,500.
Luigi Carrino has been reconfirmed at the helm of the DAC for the fourth term.
In the economic system of the Campania Region, the aerospace production chain plays a leading role, representing an element of development of the Campania region both in terms of industrial presence and for the high content of technological knowledge.
The turnover of aerospace in Campania is estimated at 2.8 billion euros with a number of employees equal to about 13,000. Campania alone has a share of 22% on the national market.
The DAC has activated 57 industrial-led partnerships with research project proposals for over € 300 million.
A total of 30 projects have been activated for over 134 M €, divided as follows:
- 20 completed for over 81.6 M € (61%)
- 10 in progress for a total of € 52.4 million (39%).
- 8 projects are being evaluated for a value of € 63.3 million
There are four reference technological platforms and the related working groups on which the DAC operates: Hypersonic, Urban Air Mobility, Commercial Aviation, Nano and Micro Satellites.
The 20 new companies that join the DAC are: 3DNA Srl, BLUE ENGINEERING Srl, BSERVICE – ENG Srl, D’AMBRA Srl, DARES Srls, EMS Srl, ENGITECH Srl, EPROINN Srl, HTT Srl, INTELLIGENTIA Srl, IT-CENTRIC Srl , LEADTECH Srl, LINEAR Scarl, MAJIOR BIT, MIGMA Srl, SAB AEROSPACE Srl, TECHNOVA Scarl, TESI Srl, TRANSTECH Srl, VAIM Srl.
These are companies that represent interesting realities, which have stood out for their capacity for innovation, some are a reference point for additive technologies, others operate on the development of micro satellites.
To become a member of the District it is necessary to have specific requirements in line with the strategic vision of the DAC and impacting on the growth and development of the territory.
